The President of the United States should Take Oath of Office in Public, NOT in SECRET
We must DEMAND that the Presidential OATH of Office be taken in Public ONLY even IF it is done on a Sunday.
Barack Obama’s second term in the Oval Office will, like the first term, start with a do-over. History is repeating itself, as once again, two versions of the presidential oath will be administered — one in public to commemorate the event- and another, official oath, given in private to swear the president into office.
In 2009, Justice Roberts made an error in administering the oath, misstating the word “faithfully,” so Barack Obama re-took the oath during a private ceremony the next day.
Now, in 2012, President Obama will ironically take the oath behind closed doors again, this time before the public inauguration takes place. The change is due to a constitutional requirement that the president be sworn in by January 20. Because this falls on a Sunday, the ceremony will be held the next day, coinciding with Martin Luther King, Jr. Day observances.
The New York Times reports:
This time there will be a twist: the constitutionally mandated date for the presidential swearing-in, Jan. 20, falls on a Sunday in 2013, so Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. will administer the oath to Mr. Obama privately that day at the White House, while the public ceremony, parade, and other events will be pushed back to Monday
The decision to move the date came back in March, as USA Today and others reported.
Frankly, it is my opinion that one reason we should see, hear and witness in real time the one and only taking of the oath of office for the President of the United States is because we cannot really trust our government any more. Today, there is plenty of deception and secrecy in government and this inaugural event is a good place for honesty and openness to be clear and present. I don’t much care that it has been done differently in the past. We need honesty, truth, openness and integrity and ALL that is right in our government!

OWS Movement
Our country and world is in serious trouble. The very foundations of humanity and freedom are being attacked and crumbling. Therefore, I would submit that every individual is in trouble as well. Humanity and freedom are aggressively being attacked. We are all having our very own foundations and humanity crumble as well. Oh, yes, we as individuals can stand strong in our own footprints, holding our heads up high, that is until some ruthless, powerful man or man controlled machine comes along and knocks us right over. Then they may work to prevent us from ever getting up again. This is not right for any human being to do to another. Or, maybe we get buried deep into the ground, our life is taken. Also not right for any human being to do to another, obviously.
Today, I believe that the way SOME americans, and other nationals, are treating the OWS movement PEOPLE, INDIVIDUALS, is indicative of a much larger problem and issue. In our country today, we obviously have SOME individuals who want to tear down rather than build up, who want to ignore rather than fix, who want to belittle and act like children rather than care, listen and help out. It is soooo obvious that there are many huge problems, politically, economically, and morally in our country and world and a majority of our elected individuals just don't care!! They don't step up and step forward to target the problem, see reality and begin working toward a correct resolution that would strengthen and preserve the Truth, Liberty, Justice and Freedom for ALL.
PEOPLE all around the world who really care and want to have Truth, Liberty, Justice and Freedom for ALL are doing what they can to fight, resist, wake-up, and show their disagreement with the reigning power structures of the world that have been on watch while the world has been moving ever closer and closer to complete meltdown. The current power structure, let’s call them “plutocrat-oligarchs” (ruled by the wealthy few) is mostly made up of made up of immoral, idiotic, greedy, selfish, power whores, in bed together, who see no harm in treating others badly if they choose to and if it will help them get what they want and this is becoming more and more obvious every minute. (More power, more control, more money.)
Many times the “plutocrat-oligarchs” treat others badly, they cause problems for others on their own in order to present a solution to the people in order to get gain, more power and more control. Many of us in the world can see these provocations, we know they are so obviously provoked by the “plutocrat-oligarchs”, and are obviously inhumane and immoral. Other times, there arise “real” “authentic” problems that come to humanity, we all understand life happens too.
No matter where a problem originates from, there needs to be real, honest, caring individuals come forward who have a heart, who care and want to join everyone together to really make things right, and solve the problem(s) following true principles. We elect and pay for people to focus on such needs and work. We hope and trust that these elected and hired people will do their job with integrity and true class. There are good solutions that promote and preserve Truth, Liberty, Justice and Freedom for ALL to every problem. Throwing money at a problem or using war tactics are so last century. We know there are better ways to solve problems than money, war, force or combat. A TRUE, NOBLE leader would know what to do. We are not seeing any of those types of leaders these days, at least not in elected or hired positions. Where are the TRUE, NOBLE leaders, who are leading in Truth, Liberty, Justice and Freedom? Where are the real leaders?
There could easily be a meeting organized to solve any problem. It wouldn't really matter how long it takes to solve a problem for our country and for humanity. Let's all do what it takes! Many of the “plutocrat-oligarchs”, are individuals who have had all these terrible situations come upon our country, the world and humanity while they were supposedly on watch. Many of the “plutocrat-oligarchs” are directly to blame! ALL of them should be working harder and harder to fix the problems before us. Come on, it wouldn't be that tough and it is the right thing to do. NO. MOST elected and hired individuals obligated to step forward are afraid to. They are incapable. They are choosing not to because they have their hearts set on something else. If ANY of this is the case, and it is obvious to me that it is since they are NOT stepping forward, then I would say they are not worthy of their office, they should be removed and see their day in court to see if justice is needing to be dealt out. Let others step forward and get things done that will restore, preserve and promote Truth, Liberty, Justice and Freedom!!

I see the OWS people, as individuals of worth. I see them as people who want to be heard directly and are asking for change. I see people of ALL walks there in the OWS movement. I see people who are intelligent and wanting to do good. I see them as working harder and harder to fix the problems before us. I see them as individuals who understand they are obligated to step forward and not be afraid. They are capable. They are choosing to do all of this because they have their hearts set on something better for the world than they now see. It is obvious to me that it is since they are stepping forward, then I would say they are worthy of the office currently held by others, they deserve to see their day in court to see if justice is needing to be dealt out. These are people stepping forward in the hopes of getting things done that will restore, preserve and promote Truth, Liberty, Justice and Freedom!!I And all I see is the “plutocrat-oligarchs” resisting their efforts, belittling them and looking very foolish themselves. I see many americans joining in thinking it is funny. Ignoring the real truth being presented here. Newt Gingrich’s latest comments, “get a job, and take a bath”, just show him to be ignorant and evil. And some think he would make a good president, NO WAY! Don't let him into office. Get him out of our political system asap. He is an idiot and very evil.
The messy and complex, yet also very simple situation we are in right now, no matter how large or small it may seem to anyone, is nothing to belittle, make fun of, twist or laugh about! We live in 2011. We have huge amounts of technology and the means to skillfully repair and rebuild our country and to help others in the world see what is right and true as well. We have the ability to live with, defend and preserve FREEDOM, TRUTH, JUSTICE, and LIBERTY for ALL right here in our own land! We have the ability to preserve these rights even if others choose not to.
Everyone, please don't forget, we are here to live for humanity, for one another. We are here together and must live in such a way as to live in peace and promote it. We are here to live in joy and promote it. We are here to live with Truth, Justice, Liberty, and Freedom and to promote them, not shove them down others’ throats, but to live as examples of these principles and promote them and all that is good for humanity! We are not here to place anyone or anything above another individual. The well being of the individual is top priority. If every individual had the opportunity to live free from bondage, learn the truth, experience justice when wronged, and have no straps to take away their liberty to be where and what they want to be and when, then we are truly doing a good job!
What I see happening to the OWS movement people, our country and the world, all from the “plutocrat-oligarchs” and their controlled media is truly a SHAME!! A shame I am working to make right. I want to help make the world a great place to live, rather than one filled with confusion, bondage, fear, and slavery. I hope I have been able to touch your heart and perhaps help you realize and understand that there is a better way of doing things than what we see the “plutocrat-oligarchs” doing now. We really can live in a great world. It really is up to us. Let's go for it! Let's make the world a great place to live!!

Situation Too Complex? A Modern Day Master Plan is the Solution!!
We could spend way too much time, money and humanity trying to sort through all the mess, lies, tanglings, injustices, and enslaving bonds tying people down these days, all placed upon individuals by corrupt political and governmental rules, representatives, greedy corporations, and irresponsible individuals (whew!)
– OR – we could, in todays modern world, live by a “DECLARATION of HUMAN RIGHTS PLAN” promoting and providing TRUTH, LIBERTY, JUSTICE and FREEDOM to ALL.
Consider this: Wouldn't it be better to simplify everything political and governmental into a single DECLARATION? A master plan based on the principles of TRUTH, LIBERTY, JUSTICE and FREEDOM for ALL? “The DECLARATION of HUMAN RIGHTS PLAN” could be completely and thoroughly defined in, oh say, 2 letter sized pages. Imagine that. We could even take the “The DECLARATION of HUMAN RIGHTS PLAN” to the next level. Let’s print it in full color, post it online as a FREE computer application for every computerized device available to man. We could include in the computer application: videos, FAQ, live chat and coaching. WOW! Everyone would be able to know what it really means to live in and sustain a country, and world for that matter, blessed with TRUTH, LIBERTY, JUSTICE and FREEDOM for ALL!!! It all sounds so easy. Can you imagine how something as simple as this could change the entire world?!!
“The DECLARATION of HUMAN RIGHTS PLAN” would also detail 3 clear divisions of the systems structure along with a very simple and clear list of the role and responsibilities of each. 1) The Federal level of government 2) The State level of government and 3) The “individual person” level.
This is much like what the founding fathers set-up, just a little different. This new and modern “The DECLARATION of HUMAN RIGHTS PLAN” of 2011 would be simpler, everywhere on the internet, placed in every home, business, mobile device, and well, you name it.
So, who would be the authors of this wonderful DECLARATION of TRUTH, LIBERTY, JUSTICE and FREEDOM for ALL?!! I would propose that only God himself. We must refer to His principles and teachings. I know that point will be debatable, but the TRUTH is only found from the source and author of truth.
Who would be the protectors and enforcers of “The DECLARATION of HUMAN RIGHTS PLAN”? Every single person on the planet would be happy to protect and enforce TRUTH, LIBERTY, JUSTICE and FREEDOM for ALL and be well qualified to do it because everyone would understand the principles and truths conatained in “The DECLARATION of HUMAN RIGHTS PLAN” and just how priceless of a possession it is. That is key!
So, as far as what “The DECLARATION of HUMAN RIGHTS PLAN” would DECLARE, may I propose the following writings from Joel Skousen, which I believe are based on the truths declared and taught by God:

Family possess total sovereignty over family affairs that do not infringe upon other’s rights and that do not constitute an imminent threat to the life of the children therein.

Let’s Make this Christmas Different!
Not only do I hope we put more Christ into Christmas this year, a dear friend shared these ideas with me and said I could pass it on… I like it!
As the holidays approach, the giant Asian factories are kicking into high gear to provide Americans wit monstrous piles of cheaply produced goods -- merchandise that has been produced at the expense of American labor.
This year can be different. This year, Americans will give the gift of genuine concern for other Americans. There is no longer an excuse that, at gift giving time, nothing can be found that is produced by American hands.
It's time to think outside the box, people.
Who says a gift needs to fit in a shirt box, wrapped in Chinese produced wrapping paper? Everyone, yes EVERYONE, gets their hair cut. How about gift certificates from your local American hair salon or barber? Gym membership? It's appropriate for all ages who are thinking about some health improvement. Who wouldn't appreciate getting their car detailed? Small, American owned detail shops and car washes would love to sell you a gift certificate or a book of gift certificates.
Are you one of those extravagant givers who think nothing of plunking down the Benjamins on a Chinese made flat-screen? Perhaps that grateful gift receiver would like his driveway sealed, or lawn mowed for the summer, or driveway plowed all winter, or games at the local golf course.
There are a gazillion owner-run restaurants – all offering gift certificates. And, if your intended isn't the fancy eatery sort, what about a half dozen breakfasts at the local breakfast joint.
Remember, folks this isn't about big National chains – this is about supporting your home town Americans with their financial lives on the line to keep their doors open.
How many people couldn't use an oil change for their car, truck or motorcycle, done at a shop run by the American working guy?
Thinking about a heartfelt gift for Mom? Mom would LOVE the services of a local cleaning lady for a day. My computer could use a tune-up, and I KNOW I can find some young guy who is struggling to get his repair business up and running. OK, you were looking for something more personal. Local crafts people spin their own wool and knit them into scarves. They make jewelry, and pottery and beautiful wooden boxes.
Plan your holiday outings at local, owner operated restaurants and leave your server a nice tip. And, how about going out to see a play or ballet at your hometown theatre. Musicians need love too, so find a venue showcasing local bands.
Honestly, people, do you REALLY need to buy another ten thousand Chinese lights for the house? When you buy a five dollar string of light, about fifty cents stays in the community. If you have those kind of bucks to burn, leave the mailman, trash guy or babysitter a nice BIG tip.
You see, Christmas is no longer about draining American pockets so that China can build another glittering city. Christmas is now about caring about US, encouraging American small businesses to keep plugging away to follow their dreams. And, when we care about other Americans, we care about our communities, and the benefits come back to us in ways we couldn't imagine.
THIS is the new American Christmas tradition. Forward this to everyone on your mailing list. Post it to discussion groups – throw up a post on Craigslist in the Rants and Raves section in your city – send it to the editor of your local paper and radio stations, and TV News departments.
This is a revolution of caring about each other, and isn't that what Christmas is about?

My comment: OK. Since our health care system is soooooo broken, let's get big government and insurance out of it. Let the industry operate free and clear in a true free market! Just like many small businesses do. If something costs too much, people would look for the same service somewhere else less expensive. Buyer beware would be in force and word would get around about what works, what doesn't and who is good and who is not. The reason costs are soooo high in the medical industry is due to insurance companies and big government’s role in the industry. That's the truly FREE way to make a change for the good of all.
